As a Ramtons customer, I would like to bring to your attention an issue regarding a fridge (Model No. RF/158) I purchased via Jumia, order no. #308987979 on 9th February 2018.
Only to get home and find it was not at all cooling and upon return to Jumia Kenya as stipulated on the site, it was confirmed by the service center that the fridge was faulty from their side.
In reference to the return policy on Jumia site, I have the right to get a refund or a change of such defective items but despite going to Jumia offices and speaking to the management, they insist on getting the item repaired which am objecting to since my intention was to buy a brand new item, not a second hand or serviced fridge and as noted above, it was defective upon collection.
Since Hypermart Limited are the vendors selling the item on Jumia online platform, I was advised to contact them directly and request for a refund approval before taking further action.
Kindly respond soon with the way forward but the bottom line is, I do not want a serviced item whereas I paid for a brand new one. (Rosebel W.)
