Fonexpress: Fonexpress sold me an Alcatel one touch 9005x tablet that is unserviceable.

I bought the tablet in 2015 from fonexpress shop at Nakumatt junction mall. It's battery developed problems in August 2016and finally died in January 2017. (As you can tell by my complaint, a funeral service has never been held.) Upon presenting the tablet in Novemver 2016 for repairs, I was directed to Fonexpress Nakumatt Lifestyle. They proceeded to misdiagnose and did a factory reset. After the tablet kept using up power within minutes, I returned it upon which they directed me to Fonexpress Amee Arcade in westlands. The branch told me that they do not have the batteries in stock and should check in two months. In January this year, they still reported that they don't have the part. Interestingly, the same model was on sale. I now believe that the company has been selling the Alcatel Onetouch 9005x knowing that its unserviceable. After giving up, I have decided to make a complaint so that Fonexpress can be made to account for its faulty product. I got in touch with the company via messenger and sent them pictures of the gadget. They have told me to wait since they have 'scaled up my complaint', ambiguous PR lingo.
